No time limit as long as your condition keeps you from working below substantial gainful activity. But, your case may be reviewed periodically by SSA to see whether there has been any improvement in your condition and whether you are still eligible for benefits. If you are still eligible when you reach 65, your disability benefits will be automatically converted to retirement benefits.
